New Buffs™ started long before it had a name. More than a decade ago, two Midwest kids from Michigan and Ohio rolled into this incredible beach town to celebrate a 30th birthday — sunkissed, adventure-seeking, and absolutely convinced we had discovered the coolest little pocket of the Midwest. Turns out… we had. What was supposed to be a weekend became a ritual.

A getaway became a love story.
And eventually — somewhere between beach days, back-porch beers, and late-night music battles — it became a home. Fast-forward 12 years: We’re still here.

Only now we show up with two small kids, slightly less sleep, and a lot more appreciation for a place that feels like it grows with you. New Buffs is our way of bottling that magic — the nostalgia of those first trips and the new memories we’re making now.
